At Perkins County Veterinary Hospital, we provide safe, comfortable, and attentive care for your pets while you’re away. We offer boarding for dogs of all sizes and cats, along with affordable doggie day care in a clean, supervised environment you can trust.

      Boarding for Dogs

Our boarding dogs stay in spacious 4’ x 8’ kennels located inside a heated and air-conditioned building to ensure comfort year-round. Each dog is provided with fresh blankets, bowls, and toys, and all bedding is washed daily.

• Dogs enjoy access to our ½-acre fully fenced outdoor area for potty breaks and playtime. To keep everyone safe and stress-free, we only allow dogs from the same household to interact together outside.
• Small dogs have their own separate fenced area and are housed indoors in a quiet space away from larger dogs.
• Our outdoor area includes a large sandbox for digging and pools during the summer months for extra fun.
• Dogs are let outside at least four times a day, and often more. One thing that truly sets us apart is that dogs are also let out later in the evening, not just before our office closes at 5:00 PM.
• All boarding dogs are fed Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Stomach unless you prefer to provide your pet’s own food.

Boarding for Cats

Cats are housed in a quiet, low-stress area in two-roomed kennels. One side is designated for food, water, and bedding, while the other contains the litter box—helping keep their space clean and comfortable throughout their stay. Cats are also fed Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Stomach unless food is provided from home.

Doggie Day Care

We also offer doggie day care for just $7.00 per day. During day care, dogs receive supervised playtime, socialization, and individualized attention. We’re also happy to help reinforce basic training and address minor behavioral concerns while your dog is with us.
